My secrets revealedHaving received a constant flow of questions on a daily basis about the best way to keep in shape and adopt a healthy lifestyle, so I have decided to reveal my personal secrets about my life style.
People think about their lives as a whole and where they want to be in the future is part of personal development strategy. Your lifestyle and your goals in life must be in harmony. Success is less about obsession with food, nutritional information, or diets, it's more about living your life to the full and enjoying the fact that you look good and feel great and most of all that you are in control of your body and mind. This is the key or secret or whatever else you want to call it and it's available to everyone from every walk of life. No matter where your starting point is you have the ability to change the way you look and feel, resulting in a lifestyle in harmony with your goals in life.
My lifestyle suits me, because I have adapted it to achieve my goals. You too can follow my philosophy, make changes to get the shape and body you have always dreamed of, reach out and grab it, learn it and then practice what you have learnt every day and just let it happen. It will make your mind and body strong and you will start to enjoy the new you and never look back - this is the first step, let me help you.......... it is within your grasp. Lets start the day and fill the body full of fuel. I can't stress enough the importance of breakfast and how much it can change the way you feel. The following is a typical intake. 1 cup strong black coffee with sweetener. A healthy breakfast smoothy which contains 3 scoops Powerbeck Diet whey, 2 x actimel probiotic drink, 1 x banana, hand full of ice and 400ml cold water. As a supplement I take 2 x Powerbeck Vitamin C and for a testosterone boost 2 x tribistan. The reason I have so much for my breakfast is that I need to get my metabolic engine working and I need energy to fuel my training which is coming up in 90 minutes. When I get to work its preparation time again and I look forward to my morning workout which consists of 30 minutes weights and an hour cardiovascular. My cardio can be wrestling in the MMA room, boxing, treadmill, bike-ride or even swimming. Don't forget this part of the day is not a chore but a very enjoyable 90 minutes. The activity is never set in stone, I always train the way my body tells me to - either doing less if I am tired or more if I feel on top of the world. Remember this is my life and this sort of training suits me. You need to try and see which activities suit you, from walking the dog to going for a 10 mile run. We are all different and have different abilities with the one thing in common, completing our personal goals. Before I train I take 2 Powerbeck Citramax Ultra and 1 USP Labs oxy elite. After training yet again, you have created an environment within your body and you have used certain nutrients which need replacing. Chicken and rice with peppers and onions is always at the top of the menu with a bit of chilly sauce for taste. This is a good size serving and enough to keep me full for the next couple of hours. The evening training is more about enjoyment and in a strange way is a more relaxing exercise like taking the dogs out for a walk or a pleasant 5 mile jog down the canal. This is my time to think about what I have achieved that day and what my future goals are. If the mind is stimulated while you train the 60 minutes just fly by and you are one step further to attaining your goal. Every day you get your exercise in is a step forward but every day you miss is two steps back. Don't let my extreme training put you off. The last thing I intended to do with this article is put people off with 5 mile jog or 60 minutes of wrestling. Always remember that any sort of exercise is a step in the right direction. You can train in the comfort of your own home doing a circuit of sit-ups and press-ups or you can put the dance disc in the X box and away you go.
As I stressed before, this is my lifestyle which suits me! You need to read this and then adapt your life to your style of training and diet with the things you like to do and eat. Again after training it is essential for me to have 5 x Powerbeck Amazing Aminos and as a solid food I have two toasted soya bread with a tin of mackerel fillets on top. Not everybody’s first choice but you can try different things like tuna and ryvita or chicken wrap etc.... An important point to get clear is that the more exercise you do - the more food you need to eat. So many times when I have put myself through the paces I will have another meal in the day to maintain the level of energy I require for my lifestyle. DON'T make the mistake of training hard and eating little thinking you will lose more weight. When you get on the right eating plan you do not need to diet as your body will reward you with results as you have give it a steady flow of nutrition not starved it. If you starve your body you will lose muscle tissue, retain body fat and have no energy - so you will fail. Without a doubt you will fail and in three months time you will be reading this article again full of good intentions. Remember we are here to help you, so if you are unsure just ask! Right the next meal is supper - 6 x egg whites cooked with ground black pepper and a Powerbeck Diet Whey made with water. This will fill me up giving a perfect ratio of amino acids and because the whey contains L-Trytophan it will aid my sleep allowing a greater flow of growth hormone and a deeper REM sleeping pattern. Sleep is the third part of the overall picture and you must get enough of it. It's when you repair and grow and give your body the time it needs to be fitter and stronger the day after. One of my principles for the weekend is peak early and early to bed. Lets just go to the weekend for a moment as I do like a few beers after a nice meal on a Saturday night. You are allowed to have a cheat meal and a few drinks but all in moderation and on the Sunday a 60 minute cardio session will start to burn off any excess calories you have consumed. A good Sunday dinner and then it's back to the Monday morning smoothy and so the cycle continues. Its as simple as that! The secret? Well there is no secret, it's just life-style and making life enjoyable. The cost of my weekly diet is no more than that of any average man - the difference is that I spend some of my money on nutrition that makes me feel good and look great.
