Maisie Taylor Wins 2 Golds

UNBELIEVABLE Maisie gets 2 golds on her birthday.

On Sunday on her 9th Birthday Maisie Taylor, one of team Powerbeck won 2 gold medals with amazing style. At Robin Park, Wigan she won the 75m final in 12.2 (PB) and smashed all records in the long jump winning with a massive 3.57m (PB). Maisie is going from strength to strength and getting PB's in training and in competition. When asked how she felt - 'Today i felt really good and knew I would win. Since i have been taking Powerbeck pro-teen i feel my training has become better and i feel faster than ever. It tastes just like strawberry milkshake and me and my sister have it after every training session'. With her sister Elle running well above her level for her age these two girls are a winning team. Both girl compete again this Sunday at the Blackpool open.

This is Elle`s 3rd year of running and Maisie`s 2nd year, Maisie started
at the age of 7 running for Leigh Harriers competing in the sprint events and
this year she has also started to compete in long jump.This winter she will be
old enough to compete in her first indoor sportshall meeting at manchester. Over
the last 18 months Maisie has won 12 gold 8 silver 5 bronze medals.Maise
has also represented her school in wigan schools cross country and came 2nd
place, with the winner being a year older. Hopefully this year Maisie will be
aiming to win it. In febuary Maisie will be moving up to the under 11s and she
will be aiming to get picked to represent greater manchester,

Currently Elle competes in the sprint events and long jump, whereas next season
she will also compete in javelin. Elle has competed in indoor and outdoor
athletics representing her club at the time, Leigh Harriers and was picked to
represent Greater Mancher, Elle has won a silver medal in the county
championships for long jump and also won a county bronze in the indoor relay.
Over the last 2 years Elle has won 5 gold 7 silver and 11 bronze medals. Elle
has also represented her school in cross country where she finished in 9th place
last year and this year 3rd, In 2010 both Elle and Maise won the overall
athlete in their age groups at Leigh Harriers club championships with Maisie
getting 7 gold and Elle getting 4 gold 3 silver and 1 bronze medal

They have now both moved clubs and are representing Bolton Harriers where they
will be competing in their first club championships on the 12th september.

 

Both girls are part of team Powerbeck and both use the gym to improve on strength and are powered by Powerbeck products including our new Pro Teen (protein for kids) and Powerbeck Flapjacks. We have weekly meetings to discuss diet and how it effect the girls performance and with the full support of mum and dad they are a winning team - these two are set of big things and will both compete in the olympics one day
